  Thank you for your two-minute Tuesdays! I truly look forward to what The Lord is directing you to share and encourage our hearts with each Tuesday!

  I, too, have felt fearful of what a friend of mine thinks of me at times and specially when I am sharing scripture or what The Lord is doing in my life. I, too, have held back my true self in Him for the sake of pleasing my friend, but not necessarily pleasing God. The scripture says in the Proverbs that the fear of man is a snare and a trap…..this is such a great exhortation to me be more dependent on Jesus before I enter into conversations with particular people in my life. God loves us so and longs for us to do what He has called us to do and in so doing…..be His light to others so that they may ask what the difference in our life is. It is not easy and I fail often, but it is awesome to know that I am not alone in my struggle and that He DOES know me! Incredible! The creator of the Universe Knows US so intimately and perfectly!

  Anyway, sorry for the rambling. I just wanted you to know your vulnerability resonated with me, I look forward to seeing what God will be leading in in the future! Thank you!

• Beautiful! I know I am held back because I don’t want to be misunderstood. But thankfully, God DOES know me better than myself, therefor I just need to trust in Him!

• Thank you Nicki for this blog. This helped me so much. I have felt a calling to become a youth and children leader, but it seems that other people seems to hold me back. Also I struggle with if I am a Christian or not. So the DEVIL also holds me back. I pray, but I feel that God doesn’t hear my prayers.
