My heart's desire

The past few days have been very challenging for me spiritually. God is really speaking to me and Satan is attacking BIG time. It’s amazing how he uses the people who are closest to us to make us doubt what He has told us. In my quite time I’ve been reading the book of Job. It’s amazing how you can read something a hundred times and God can still reveal His promises and truth to you. What’s really stuck out to me this time in reading Job is the fact that Satan and the Lord had conversations. Now to you this may not sound as bizarre as it does to me but stop and think for minute. Can you imagine Satan even in the presence of the Lord??? Whoa, what I would have given to be there. Just to see how God reacts to him is truly amazing. It’s like Satan is just dumb, excuse my childish terms but really come on. He had to have known that God was going to win like always. The other thing that is really standing out to me is the angels coming before the Lord in the same manner as Satan. It’s almost like they are getting ready to give report. I can just see God sitting on His mighty throne and the angels all in place ready for their assignments and to give account for what they have seen. Maybe I’m way off on all this and I’ve let my imagination run wild with this but it’s all so intriguing to me. I just can’t grasp the mind of God and I want to SOOO bad. But I know it’s humanly impossible for me. My heart just aches to know Him more and to understand what it is that God has to say to me. So just as Satan was roaming the earth then he still is now, and I’m so thankful that God has opened my eyes to recognize where he’s attacking and who he’s using. What’s really scary to think about is that I know and I can recall times when Satan has used me. Oh how I don’t want that ever to happen again but I’m sure it will, but at least when our eyes have been opened to the light we can recognize the darkness. Go awoke me this morning and I’m so glad because it’s been a day………The girls are just…………Ready to go to the beach and they don’t want to do all the yucky stuff like cleaning and laundry in order to get ready to go. Typical girls……But we have gotten a lot done today but there is still more to do so I’d better run. Anyone have thoughts on Job??? I’m almost through chapter 3 and I can’t wait to see what else God has to say to me. Well I hope everyone is enjoying this nice HOT day. Have a good one!!!
