  Just read your article on Crosswalk about the fat lady and it captured me. Being a mom is the most rewarding, hardest,funnest and frustrating call I have ever had. There are times I feel trapped and want to run to work, and times I am so glad I can be home to wipe their nose and put cool compresses on their head, without a boss annoyed that I am taking a day off. Yet having my own business, it suffers greatly. I then feel like I should give up the entrepreneur thing and go to work, because the bills!!! So I go to recreate myself and end up crying at the thought of leaving my 7 and 8 year old. (If I leave the house I would be consulting and traveling a great deal, or else its just not worth it financially to work for someone else). So back I go again, where I left off to just have to pick it up and try again.

  I just would like to have a year, no a life where I am not wondering, if the kids can go back to Christian School or how we are going ever save for college and weddings, let alone retirement…! Then I read Mt. 6:25-33 and calm myself down.

  My 7 year old came in the room and said to me, "Mom the bible says your not supposed to worry about your stuff." Well that says it huh?

  Faith what a Word, what a challenge, how low I feel when I lack it, because I am not pleasing God without it! Yet He loves me anyway. I'm so glad, so blessed and so ready for consistency. That, I am realizing, means learning how to emphatically trust God and live from Faith to Faith. Resting in Him.
