Today I have a special treat for you.
Bloggy friends, please meet Taylor:
She is my 9 almost 10 year old oldest girl. Today I thought it would be great for you to hear from her. She is getting to be so big, and very grown up so I think she’s ready to blog. [as a guest]
This past week at school Taylor was told to write a poem. The title of the poem was “I am”. They had very specific instructions on how to do the poem. But I just have to say [and yes, I’m a little biased] she rocked this thing out. So without further ado…bloggers welcome Taylor and her poem, I am.
I AM
By Taylor Koziarz
I am a dreamer who intends to change the world
I wonder what China is like
I hear giggling
I see waves crashing on the beach
I want to be president
I am a dreamer who intends to change the world
I pretend that I am a teacher
I feel like a champion
I touch a baby panda
I worry that something dreadful will happen to me or my family
I cry for compassion for children in Africa
I am a dreamer who intends to change the world
I understand books that I read
I say words of truth, peace and hope
I dream to see God
I try to do my best in everything I do
I hope that I will be successful
I am a dreamer who intends to change the world

Are you not proud of this sweet girl of yours??? (I studied to be a teacher for a while and worked with that age group, and let me tell you this wonderful) Tell Taylor this is an amazing poem 🙂 I think she takes after her mother 😉
I hope she keeps writing! What an inspiring work that has quite the deep theme. It is apparent that she really has a heart for others and for God. Praying that she continues to grow in that and becomes a woman who not only “intends to change the world”, but actually does. I am sure God is smiling down at His sweet Taylor right now. Ekk!! Love this upcoming generation!

Hey Erin,
I am super proud of her! She does have an amazing heart for God. You are a sweetie, thanks for reading! 🙂
Tayor, that was just beautiful. I believe you do have the gift of writing just like your mom. I don’t know do kids have blogs? We could have a mom and daughter thing going on! Your words are very thought provoking Taylor. You keep on dreaming granddaughter. It is by dreaming that things happen. You already are changing the world. Thanks for using a gift that God has given you! Love Mimi
Taylor,
