I’m excited.
For the first time in a long time, I feel like I have some clarity about some pretty big issues I’ve been challenged with.
I woke up this morning feeling so refreshed and ready to go. I have a plan, a mission and I just feel like I could conquer so much today.
This is a huge change of wind.
I feel like…I’ve plucked some weeds from my soul.
“The seed cast on good earth is the person who hears and takes in the News, and then produces a harvest beyond his wildest dreams.” -Matthew 13:23
Question 1 -What does this verse say?
Good earth. Producing a harvest. Wildest dreams. Those are the words sticking out to me this morning.
Hearing and taking in the News are two very different things. I really like that phrase: “taking in”.
Question 2 -What does this verse mean?
Having “good earth” means having a heart that God can work with. We can’t just “listen” to God’s truth in our lives. We have to take it in, plant it, harvest it and allow it to grow. Then, when our hearts are full, we will overflow into others lives.
Question 3 -What does this verse mean to me?
I’m really glad I’ve been sticking out this 30-day journey because I feel like there are finally some really good seeds starting to sprout in my soul. I have felt so defeated for so long in numerous areas and I believe I needed this time every day to write these words…to me.
The truth is, Gods word is the only thing that will bring clarity to our souls.
I’ve got wild dreams y’all…so do you. They may be buried under all the clutter and defeat in our heart, but wild dreams are in there.
I see God lining up things one by one. I’m not even close to starting to run the race. This is a season of preparation…the most important season I will go through. Destiny requires preparation. Some people like preparing…I don’t. I just want to do it.
But, this season will define me more than any other season I will go through. And I think that is why it has been so hard.
While these thoughts may look like small and meaningless to someone else, its huge to me.
Seeing what we have is one of the greatest ways to keep planting good seeds in our life.
So what does this look like for me?
-Blocking certain people on facebook and twitter. Yes, there are some things that I read on these social networking sites that leave negative, doubtful seeds in my heart. I don’t want to read others negative words they will only cloud my vision…but I also have to be careful that every seed I ever sow is positive too.
-Staying on my knees daily. I cannot do this without the presence of God…this would go into the category of doing the natural do that God can do the supernatural.
-Realizing what I have is clarity. Life may not always be fair -but we can either sit around and complain or we can rise up and take our place in this world. Using what we have to get to where we need to be will bring the breakthrough.
I don’t know if this post makes a lick of sense to anyone else. But friends, the best is yet to come in our lives, we have so much ahead. Preparing for it may be more than we can handle some days but the footsteps we take will lead us to His voice, His vision and the abundance of the Spirit of faith He gives so freely to us.

You’ve had discipline to work up to this point by God’s grace. He’ll carry you through the rest of the preparation too. I’m glad you have your wildest dreams. They take us where we belong. You sound joyful today and sounds like you have a wise plan.
