There’s a thought roaming around my mind:
“What does a great purpose look for a person who sees their calling everywhere?”
There’s a dream boiling up in my heart. It’s not the type of dream that make someone famous, or creates a huge following.
It’s a dream to be more in the “today’s”. It’s a dream of falling asleep each night knowing I have done all that I could [and more] to fulfill the places where God allows me to be.
While driving this afternoon I really spent some time looking around my community, thinking through this question. I see so many people I’d like to know their stories but I don’t stop. I don’t ask. And so… I don’t know.
It’s easy to take the simple sights and people for granted when you pass them by each day. But I can’t help but think of how much I miss out on by not stepping out of my comfort zone.
“What does a great purpose look for a person who sees their calling everywhere?”
So, I’m challenging myself this week to stop. Ask. And befriend a stranger. I want to see my calling… everywhere.
