It is finished. 🙂 Day 30. I made it. You made it. We did it.
God has interrupted my everyday-common-ordinary lives the past thirty days and I suspect He’s not finished.
So in honor of today’s last blog post on this Interrupt journey, I thought I’d share the top 5 lessons I’ve learned along this way.
If you are new to this journey here’s day 1.
#1 Yes, God can interrupt an everyday, common, ordinary life.
#2 Allowing God to interrupt us requires movement on our part: taking risks, being uncomfortable and seeking His interruptions.
#3 It’s ok to not feel content with where you are but its important to accept the daily places God has allowed you to be. [ie: doing laundry, carpooling, meetings, work, chasing kids…]
#4 Expectancy is the breeding ground for miracles. If we want God to do great things in our everyday, common, ordinary life… we should expect it.
#5 Interruptions need to be recognized. I discovered I miss so many interrupted opportunities because I don’t even see them.
This has been an amazing journey for me. And for those of you who participated, I’ve loved hearing your stories… thank you for allowing me to be apart of your process. And for everyone else… thank you for letting me ramble through these thoughts the past thirty days.
So God… what’s next? 🙂
