Can I tell you how overwhelmed/blessed/burdened I have been with the response to last week’s blog?
I have tried to sit down numerous times to write this blog post and the words just would not come. So I prayed. And read your comments. Prayed some more. And read more comments.
What happened on the blog last week was a beautiful thing.
People revealed their God-struggles… sickness, job loss, pregnancies, relationships that feel like their failing, life’s unknowns, disappointments and just not having the ability to trust God right now.
And then… people prayed. Whether we realized it or not, a movement was started in each of our lives.
Because trusting God isn’t about having everything figured out in our souls… its about moving our lives to a place of just responding to God.
The truth is, I have found the worst thing we can do is ignore these struggles. Because when we do that, we move our lives to a place of complacency; the dangerous place of staying unaware, unaffected and unchanged.
I love these words of David [the author of Psalm], so simple… look and seek Him.
I am woman who is longing to see God do something in each of our lives. Something more than we could ever have imagined…
I see God moving each of our mountains.
I see each of us working through a story that will end with, “Look what God has done.”
I see God reviving our souls with a passion for Him.
All because a group of people simply decided…
I’m going to respond to God, no matter what it looks like.
So today, know you have been heard. Our God is leaning into what’s happening here. You have been prayed for. You are loved. And you are accepted, no matter what your trust struggles look like.
Your honesty, prayers and love for people you have never met blesses me friends.
Seeking Him with you today…

I too, am a woman who is not only longing to see God do something in our lives, something too beautiful for us to understand…I am standing so ready to serve Him, to be in the middle of HIS beautiful purpose and help others to remember they are loved by HIM! I read Encouragement Today almost everyday, but the day of Nicki’s blog, I felt so compelled to seek more and I realize today that it was not a coincidence, but a “God” incident! God is so cool how HE does things! Nicki, you are a gifted writer, and I thank Him for you right now! I too felt blessed seeing how much love total strangers had for one another. It was divine! Keep on loving, praying, and sharing! God bless!
