  Thank you so much, I needed to hear this! I have so much going on and around in my life. I have felt spiritually empty, and feel sometimes I have no right to ask or even expect anything of God. I subscribe to your blog, hate to admit haven’t check in in awhile but tonight I stayed home because i feel like my body is fighting something (cold, flu, etc) I takie a night class on Tues. this is just what I needed to hear.

• God always lines up people in life to speak truth over you just when you need it. I was on facebook tonight, which I rarely do these days and was on your site to read about Kennedy’s baptism(I attend Elevation too #ElevationConcord here we come) when I saw your 2 minute Tuesday. I’m in a situation where I’ve lost my job for the 3rd time in a year. I’m an RN. I never thought this would happen to me after 23 years of nursing. But God is working in me. I realized last week that I don’t dream for myself anymore. I don’t know when it stopped. But my dreams don’t exist anymore. I was feeling sad about that when I listened to what you said. It seems foreign, but it must be true. Tonight when God and I speak before bed I’m going to tell him that I take him up on the offer to dream again and expect to hear from him in return. • I have been. Feeling depressed and defeated and this just spoke to my heart I am recovering. From. Back surgery and it’s a long road I have a 2 yr old son that wants his mommy back and I needed to be told it’s ok to dream again

• Hi Nicki, this is for me I know. I have giving up on a lot of things I want to do because people tell me I can’t do it or that I’m to old. Well I’m going back to school and I know I can do it with God on my side. I’m going to claim claim claim it TODAY

  Thank you. I think the message was for me. I was just telling someone yesterday that I had stopped dreaming for years because of situations going on in my life. I was part of the last ‘What Happens When Women Say Yes to God’ Bible study when I realized that I no longer dream. I was asking this person, my pastor, if she would be my spiritual director. I was lead to do this through the Bible study. I want to be open to God, with palms up! I am seeing God working around me! The ‘coincidences’ in the past weeks have been reaffirming that God is opening my heart to follow Him. Wow, your message blew me away. I am expecting Him!!! Thank you!!!

• Thank you for being a woman of obedience I started to dream but it seemed like that was all I did God had to reline my priorities so I would not just chase after the dreams but God first so God gave me a clear vision which is staying connected to him and trusting him because how can you place your hope and confidence in him if you can not trust him to bring forth those dreams. • This was so interesting to me today because my bible study group had a discussion on dreams & expectancy. Two of us in the group have lost a husband & me – my only child and since that time neither of us have dreams! For so long I felt like my life was over after Megan’s death, I had no purpose. Slowly over the last 2 years God has moved so much in my life and I know that I am still here because God has a specific purpose for my life and my job now is to find it and live it out! Lord, restore my dreams!

• Thank you for sharing, Yes i am afraid to dream or expect due to disa ppointments or lack of evidence of God moving. Praying and seeing no results. I have been praying for my son to return to the Lord and live for him, I will lift my heart to God and lift my dreams to him and claim his promises

• I have for so long tucked in a corner and remained down because of dissapointments but lately God has been renewing my strength. now after reading this post I have received the nudge to dream again.

• I could not hear the video but I am holding on to be still and wait on the Lord for the sale of our home in Cache Creek, BC. I am trusting in the Lord’s timing and Know that all things work for the good. I trust in Him and He has my best interests in his heart. Thank you Lord for your word that says nothing is impossible for God.

• I’ve been very blessed to stay at home with my four kiddos over the last 17 years, all while working from home part-time. Giving up my “dream job” to be an exceptional mother was a fairly easy decision and one I would never change. Now that I can work full-time, the opportunities are scarce and I’m frustrated by the “waiting game”. I’m open to God using my creative talents in new and different ways but still feel discouraged, alone and unwanted.
