Hi Nicki! I read today’s devotion and loved it. It’s just what I need in my life today. Thank you for your awesome words! Stay in your lane, run hard, pass it on…great words!
Nicki,
I want you to know how much I needed your devotion this morning. Thanks!
Jennie
It’s so liberating to hear someone else say, “Focus Brings Freedom.” Many people have the idea that focusing on God limits our time and abilities, because time with Him is time we could be spending elsewhere. At times, it’s easy to fall into the deceitful traps of the world telling you those lies. Thank you so much for the truthful reminder today 🙂
Nicki!
I am loving today’s devotional. I was telling God just last night how often I lose focus of Him throughout the course of my day. Your devotion was right in time!
Thank you! – I needed it this today. Every day!
I feel I’m always easily distracted by things that aren’t important, yet I know I’m missing so much of what the Lord is doing all around me. Thank you for this truth! The frame is beautiful–such an important verse to me!
I’m currently facing the most challenging time of my life. I loved the devotional today. Great encouragement. Thank you.
What a blessing, I needed that. It’s so easy with our busy lives to lose focus.
Thank you so much for your wonderful, inspiring reminder. Have a fantastic day!
I have enjoyed your transparency in the Mended Heart Bible Study and reading through your devotions. Beautiful website!!
Really moved by your story last week and glad to find you have a blog. Love your real life reminders!
I found you after reading the Prov 31 devotional and love your blog. This verse is a great reminder and would be so pretty in my office.
I truly enjoyed today’s devotional and would love to win this beautiful artwork!
Loved this devo so much because it was the story of Bartimaeus that I heard the night I was saved. I already subscribe to your blog and have done a couple of online Bible studies with you so your post truly felt like a girlfriend sharing her life with me. Thanks for always being so authentic as you share about running your race. Keep pressing on!
Always love reading your devotions. One of my favorite scriptures.
Have a Blessed Fourth.
I loved reading your devotions and just subscribed to your blog.
I love today’s devoton! Simple words yet so powerful! I would love to win one of these framed reminders of these beautiful words of scripture.

Thank you for today’s devotional. Great reminder !!! Have a beautiful day in the Lord!!!
Hi! I”m new here! So glad I checked it out. Thank you 🙂
Thank you. These are the words I needed to hear today as I was having doubts that Jesus sees me. Sometimes I feel like I am invisible or not needed. Thanks again.
As usual, God is always right where I need him. I was really praying and thinking about how I get easily distracted during my quiet time. I feel I am always apologizing to God for it. Even this morning I caught mysel looking at Facebook first (I normally make this last morning priority). But I stopped and said, no this is Gods time. So thank you for your words. Thank you for allowing Godto use you to touch me!
Thank you for words that speak to my heart.
Love this frame print. Such a great verse and reminder. We all need to have this one visible daily. Each day we face things that test our faith. We just have to remember to hold on with both hands and trust the Lord!
Nicki, I just subscribed to your blog. I saw your “Two Minute Tuesday” yesterday and couldn’t figure out how to receive it every week and searched today. You are such an inspiration to so many and so ‘one of us’. Thank you for all you do to help all of us.
I came here by way of the Daily Devotion. I can’t wait to subscribe and follow you!
Hi! I read this verse through your Proverbs 31 devotion this morning. These devotions always speak truth into my heart. They are constant reminders of God’s love to us. I would be so encouraged to have this framed verse as a visual representation of today’s devotion.
Nicki I enjoy Proverbs 31 and these posts. I am reminded how great GOD is. #summerstory15
Thank you for the reminder of God’s daily provisions for us!
Nina
Thank you for today’s sweet devotional. It was exactly what I needed!
I love your posts and insights. The last couple of 2 min Tuesdays have gotten me to really ponder. Thanks! Have a blessed holiday and thanks for the beautiful giveaway 🙂
Thank you. In need of this reminder this morning. Blessed that Proverbs 31 led me to your blog and insights for walking in faith.
Thought provoking devotion today. Thanks
‘Fix our eyes on Jesus’! Ah yes…we get so easily distracted by so many things yet Jesus gentle voice calls “Come”. I’d love the framed verse; several years ago, began using scripture as artwork – as a reminder to myself each time I saw it and also, hopefully, be an encouragement to all who entered our doors!
Love the P31 devotional today. It spoke to my heart and gave me so much encouragement!
I was just telling my husband about a circumstance that was causing me to feel anxious and then I opened my Facebook to find your article thru Proverbs 31. I knew what needed to be done, but this was a beautiful confirmation for my heart. Blessings!
Today’s devotional brought to mind how the Holy Spirit works within us when we allow it to. Faithful walking allows us to serve others when we’re not even thinking about it, but just respond to the opportunity!
Wonderful devotion today! Faith is the key, but mine is weak sometimes. Praise the Lord for you!!!
Love the picture, bless you for giving away a gift that when we look at it we are reminded of God’s word.
A much needed reminder to “stay in my lane”, even when I don’t know how things are going to turn out.
Thank you.
Sometimes I wonder if Jesus is even walking by in my life but then at the end of the day I look back and see all the times he was there with comfort, support, love and blessings. I want to be more focused at all times to recognize His presence at all times. Great devotional!!!
Thank you for the reminder to stay the course and keep going through the messiness of life. Happy 4th of July!
Hi Nicki,
I just wanted you to know that this devotion is exactly what I needed to hear today. I have been so distracted by things around me as of late, my job, college, my wants, my family, not that those things aren’t important, but I have not been taking the time to just be in the presence of God lately. Your blog and devotional posts are such a great avenue for this. It’s amazing what God will speak to you if you will just be still, and listen. Thank you so much for these posts, and I look forward to reading more!

Isaiah 41:10
Thank you for the wonderful write up. It was very inspiring to me.
I need to focus more, and pray more. The passing on part I can do more readily sometimes, but feel I fail sometimes. Thanks for the encouragement.
Truth is in us, As we are made in His image ; your words, Nicki, breathed by God gave truth today~ Thank YOU .
I become distracted by participating in the fast pace of life and when ‘I start ‘with my Lord each day , I am more likely to see the place I want to be and get out of the busy.
Thank YOU so much for your devotional this morning….I always pray for God to protect me from the unfocusness of myself and others….I can get so distracted at times, especially in my own thoughts. I love that you broke down three guideliness to assist us on how to stay connected and focused with God. I’m learning this year that staying in the moment and really focusing on God and what He has for your life will guide you like a compass to where you need to go….His way always points to the right direction. Thank YOU again, God Bless and keep on writing! =)
Your devotional gave me insight I needed. Thank you
Just what I needed to hear this morning! Thanks!
Loved the message you shared today thru Proverbs31. I intend to 1) Stay in my lane. 2) Run hard. and 3) Pass it on!!!
Thank you!
BARTIMAUS is such a good reminder to focus on Jesus! Keeping Him in clear view…the key to peace in every situation! Thankyou for today’s devotion 😉
Loraine
Thanks for a wonderful devotion this morning. I needed that! I actually just got in from my morning run and could relate to exactly what you were saying!
Thank you so much for listening to God! I feel you have been writing these posts just to me! I was an elementary school, art teacher when my husband and I first got married. When we had our first child I decided to stay home. We had two children and I homeschooled my first all he way through and my second until high school. Now there have been several job openings for art teachers near me so I applied. I got two interviews but they are not getting back to me when they said they would. It’s hard to tell my story in a short way, but let’s just say this has been a faith journey for sure. I have been having to force myself to try not to feel badly about myself but rather trust God and that His Plan for me is best. We are in debt and need more income but I don’t know if God wants me to have one of these jobs or not. The waiting is so hard.
Hi Vicki,
Thank you for today’s devotion. It’s nice to know that others struggle with staying focused too! I am encouraged today to keep my eyes on Jesus regardless of my circumstances!
God bless!
Love this Nicki! I started subscribing to your blog a few weeks ago & glad I did! I look forward to your two minute Tuesday’s & I love your ministry 🙂 Thank you for all you do!!!
I think I need to print this devotion out and read it often!! It is so easy to lose focus in this world, thanks for the great reminder. Hope I win.
Hi! I just subscribed to your blog and I’m excited to read your inspirations every day! God bless you! Please enter me for the beautiful photo! 🙂
Beautiful reminder!
So love this reminder to keep running the race! Looking for Jesus throughout my day!
I love your encouraging words and can relate them to my own life. The framed verse is beautiful and I would live to win one! I’m signing up for your blog posts today. Thank you!
Messy kitchen, kids not wanting to get out of bed, running late for work, forgot to pack a lunch, need to buy an anniversary card for my husband……..why did God put me here? why is this second marriage so trying? Oh…..to walk by faith and not by sight……..oh I will remember that I will walk with faith that God has a great plan for me…….that God put me right here at this right time…….
Thanks!
I needed this devotion today. I have been struggling with anxiety and I need to stay focused on Jesus. I know he will help me through this and he will heal me. Thank you for speaking what God has laid on your heart. God bless!
I wish you lived closer to me. I could use a friend like you.
Son marries this Saturday, July 4th. Oregon boy and new wife will be moving to North Carolina. New life for my husband and me. For this coming weekend and for the future I definitely need to “Walk by faith and not by sight.” Definitely claiming 2 Corinthians 5:7!
Passing on the proof is the part of this devotion that struck me. How by living in Jeses’ image we can lead others to him. Thanks!
Much needed this morning. My storms seem to be getting stronger instead of weaker. The more I reach out the more I feel He is further away. I know in my heart that isn’t true, it is just circumstances and satan speaking but still rough in the moment.
Hi Nicki! Thank you for blogging and sharing ideas for how to follow Jesus. I’d love to have the beautiful framed verse that your friend whipped up! How talented you both are. Have a blessed day! Laura 🙂
I’ve been struggling a lot with God’s direction for my life and asking, “What is my purpose, Lord?”
I realize now that if I focus on Him, He will guide me. I don’t need to search. He is right there.
~Jenn
Thank you so much for your devotion really needed this so much in my life right now. The storms are coming in my life one right after the other. I am keeping Faith and Trusting in Jesus to see us through
them all. Have a Bless Day…
As I’ve learned here lately, sometimes in troubled waters all we have left is faith. God bless !! 🙂
I am so glad you’re back! I was missing my Two Minute Tuesday’s. And now a book and bible study to look forward to? Woohoo!
Have a safe, happy, healthy holiday weekend. Hope I’m a winner 🙂
This will be perfect to hang next to our family calander. My boys and I need this reminder often! God Bless.
You are such a gift to so many! Thank you and I love your new blog design! 🙂 I have tweeted and posted on FB. 🙂 KEEP ON WRITING AND SPEAKING! (you changed my life on retreat last year, your words truly did! )
Really enjoyed the devo!
These are so beautiful! I really enjoy reading your blog posts, I have been a subscriber for a few years now! Thank you for your devotion to the Lord and sharing the gospel with so many!
Hello Nikki,
That is one of my favorite verses out of the bible and I wouldn’t love nothing more but to win one of your frames you are giving away so I can put it in my living and I can be reminded of my Faith everyday. May God bless you.
Thank you for your message today. As my daughter is getting ready to leave for boot camp later this month, my mind is clouded by fears of her leaving and loosing touch with me. Instead, I will focus on this verse you have framed GOD Bless.
Thank you for your blessings and encouragement everyday. God has blessed me with a daily reminder there is a huge network of women out there just like me who are in this together to love Christ and share it with others.
Great reminder for me this morning to stay in my lane!!! So glad I clicked on Proverbs 31 for my morning devo… new subscriber to your blog.
I’m new to Proverbs 31, which sent me over to you. But the daily devotions I get in my work email are beautiful moments of peace in an otherwise hectic day. I know I will be checking in with you often. Thank you!
What a beautiful piece of art! I guess I have my head in a hole because I’ve not thought about all you great P31 ladies having blogs of your own, duh! My link is a few years old, but I just couldn’t NOT post it! And now I’m a subscriber of your blog too!
Wow – my day started really rough today, and then I read your post from Proverbs 31. Thank you for reminding me to stay the course and keep my eyes focused on Jesus and not on the circumstances of the day.
I so love stopping by your blog each day Nicki, but especially today to see this beautiful plaque. I tweeted, shared with all my friends on Facebook and still need to get a blog up, but two little grandsons are here this morning. Almost time for 5 lessons from the Bible. Great reminder that “we walk by faith” since the I loaded the boys up this morning and we went on a two mile walk. I was thinking of a blog as I was walking and seeing the cows, horses, alpacas and rabbits in the yard about your farm and about a blog and come back and BAM!
Thank you for teaming up with Proverbs 31! I could always use more reminders of how to live with God leading my life 😀 beautiful print!
Just recently I have been going through a rough time and God has directed me to refocus on Jesus! So today’s”Encouragement for Today” message from Nicki has really helped!
Hey Nicki –
I love this verse so much but since a friend of mine son has been fighting Battens Disease, this verse makes me think of him. He is a precious little boy going through so much right now and has pretty much lost his sight but not his FAITH.
Here is a link to his story, his mom posts update everyday. They are a beautiful family with very strong FAITH.
https://www.facebook.com/pages/Jaylens-Journey/689398837806200?fref=ts
If i won this picture, I’m not sure if I would keep it and think of him or pass on the gift to them to hang at the Ronald McDonald house where they have lived for over 292 days.
Thank you so much!!!!
My AM prayer: to be more of God’s presence – FOCUS! thanks
Your post today on Proverbs 31 was exactly what I needed. I am always letting my busy life get in the way and missing miracles. Your helpful hint of staying in my own lane; run hard; and pass it on will always stick with me. Thanks for sharing this today. I would love to win the frame with the verse; it would be perfect to set out for all my family and friends to look at daily and be reminded.
Hi there…God Bless! The Lord has taken me through a difficult time recently. He has drawn me to
Him so many times through this trial. His Word has been so helpful to remind me to keep focusing
on Him though I do not see Him…He lives in me. Walking by faith never fails to keep me focused
on Him. Thank you for sharing yourself with all of us. Praise God and may you and your family
continue to be blessed. Kathy
Thank you for your devotion today…I needed it to be reminded to stay focused . You are an inspiration!
Thank you so much for your post today! I can be easily distracted and find myself doing multiple other things instead of spending time with Jesus. It’s a great reminder to focus ourselves on Jesus and His truths for us!
Thank you for your ministry!
Praying for you!
God bless you.Nicki.!blessed by ur article.

I love that verse! Thank you for your encouraging post on Proverbs 31 today!
Thank you for writing such an encouraging message on the Proverbs 31 devotionals. I love reading them as I am a subscriber. I needed to hear this message…particularly the “just pass it on part”. This is difficult for me and I needed to hears this message.
I have just found the Proberb 31 website and immediately joined the Mended Heart on line Bible study. That’s where I first “met” you, in the introduction video. I can’t tell you what a blessing all of this has been and how timely. I have needed a mending not only for my shattered heart but also in my fractured relationship with Jesus. And through you and your sisters, this is what I am receiving! And I’m beginning to learn again how to walk in faith. Thank you.
Hello! This came at the perfect time for me. I’ve been struggling with putting social networks before my time with God. It’s so easy to click on my facebook app without even realizing I’m doing it a lot of the time. I was just fighting with myself because it is quiet in my house now with my husband and kids asleep. I really felt god calling me to spend time with him but what crept into my mind? Logging on to Facebook. Just really quick before I take the time I want to spend with God. It frustrates me that i let myself be so tempted by the enemy! His schemes are so sneaky that you almost don’t know it’s him. I’m thankful I didn’t give in this time, however, it’s so easy to do. Instead, I opened the proverbs 31 devotional which I am so thankful to get in my email everyday. I knew just from the title that it would hit home. Thank you for redirecting me and encouraging me to focus so that I can find freedom. I’m praying I continue to dig deep into gods word for his words will be food for my soul something Facebook or any other social network will never be able to do!
Loved your devotion today in Probverbs 31!! Very powerful and and needed! I’m going through a marriage breakup (divorce can’t really say it yet) and struggling! Last night was a rough one prayed for God to help me, needed help, want help. Then I read your devotion and I realized He is here I just have stay the course, stay in my lane, focus on him and the rest will be taken care of! Why it clicked this morning I do t know, but I have thought about it all day and you! I’ve never even looked at a blog, let alone respond so hopefully I’m doing this right, but wanted to THANK YOU for your message!! Can’t wait to keep up on your blog. Guess new things are happening already for me.
I would love to hang this awesome reminder in my wall. I need it!
Thank you for sharing these words today!!
So glad I checked out your blog–over from Proverbs31. Will be checking in more often!
Your devotional was just what I needed this morning! My husband and I have decided to get out of debt and boy do we need to focus on Jesus to do it! I like a quote I saw recently, “It’s going to be hard, but it’s not impossible!” My God is the God of the impossible!!!!
Thanks for that great devotional!
Thank you for the reminder! Sometimes I think I’m the only one struggling with getting distracted. Blessings to you 🙂
Thank you for the reminder!
I love this verse! Would love to display it in my home!
Hi, Nicki!
I so enjoy reading your devotions through Proverbs 31 ministries! This one was just what I needed as I am in the middle of such a crazy busy summer. I am also going to subscribe to your blog, too. This verse would be an awesome reminder for me to see daily what is important.
Thanks and God bless!
Amy
What a beautiful reminder for each day of our lives, especially when we walk through trials. I broke my leg in two places on Memorial Day and I have been sitting in a chair since then, as I can have no weight bearing on that leg. Life is hard at the moment, but when we remember that God is in control, we can indeed walk by faith and not by sight….even when we cannot walk. It is then that our Lord carries us! Thanks for the reminder…..
Thank you for that wonderful reminder about distractions that happen in our lives that take us away from Jesus.
Hello Nicki, I love your blog and have been a subscriber.
I used the hashtag #SummerStory15 on one of my Twitter post.
https://twitter.com/savvyblog1/status/617491926787469313
I love your blog and this reminder that we do walk by faith. Sometimes when our faith is tested, reminders like this help.
I shared this on my Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/sherri.sav.1/posts/791288024303135?pnref=story
I am new to Proverbs 31& connected to your blog through there. It was such a great devotional “Focus Brings Freedom”. It was a great reminder for me to focus more on God. Like you mentioned looking away from your devotional onto other interesting things on the internet. I do that so many times while reading my bible. I get off track thinking about the things I need to get done in the day. Thank you so much for that & excuse me while a browse through your blog. The framed verse is beautiful & like many others help to win it!
Saw your post on P31 today and loved it, especially this: But I want to have this extreme focus Bartimaeus had, so when Jesus is passing by through my everyday life, I’m ready.
Jesus is passing through our everydays with always and we so often miss Him…
