What’s the best quote I’ve recently heard someone say on Instagram?
Well, it came directly from my first guest and you can hear it today through this series I’m doing called, “Conversations on Comparison.”
Alli Worthington joined me for a Facebook Live where we talked about movies, cheering others on and she shares a quote that’s golden. Alli is such a kind and gentle soul. She has lived through some pretty tough stuff and shares about it in her book called Fierce Faith. She is also an amazing leader in our generation today and it was an honor to pick her brain on this topic of comparison.
Today we’re giving away a copy of Alli’s book, Fierce Faith. Follow the instructions in the Rafflecopter giveaway to win!
I’ll announce the winner on Monday and I can’t wait to tell you who my next guest is on this series!

Thanks for your insight, ladies!
I loved the discussion on social media and depression. When you scroll, without engaging, that is the danger zone! I know I cannot handle the dark side of what others might be facing that they don’t post about! My cousin in Texas posts pictures of her 1 yr old and I commented how he is always full of smiles. She said “I don’t post the pictures of him crying!” And it so true. We don’t ever post the ugly. Thanks for the reminder!
I love the encouragement to celebrate the gains of other women instead of considering them our loss. That’s SO important because comparison seems to be especially rampant among women. The enemy steals my place when I start coveting the seat of others — which he’s been doing from the beginning. If you think about it, he was the first to covet and compare when he wanted to elevate himself above God instead of being content with the heavenly angel he was created to be. *mind blown* ha! This was a great FB Live and left me with some powerful takeaways. 🙂
I do not consistently follow your blog, but I always know that when I look at it, it is always helpful. Thank you for what you do and for encouraging all of us!
I am now rereading Why Her and I’m already finding truths that I’ve missed the first round. I think social media can be so dangerous when it comes to comparison. I find myself comparing constantly and then feeling disheartened.
I love the encouragement in the video. Both ladies offer a positive outlook on being true to ourselves and not comparing ourselves to others.
I enjoyed yesterday’s facebook live!
Thank you for introducing me to Alli. She is so fun and real. Her book sounds awesome too!
Thanks for giving us a chance to win.luv the video of fb live
This has me even more excited to start your study! My book has been shipped & I am awaiting it with giddy happiness.
I really liked when y’all talked about engaging with posts (likes, comments) instead of scrolling, not just as a means of fighting comparison but as a way to cheer on others.
LOVED this!!! Very informative!
Loved your chat and love your honesty! I prefer Facebook to Instagram, only because I had it first and don’t really understand Instagram.
Loved your conversation with Alli on FB live! I love Alli’s quote and her comment on her “Bible boyfriend!”
I am so excited for the Why Her study to begin!
Alli’s book looks amazing! Can’t wait to read it!
