Why am I so nervous to tell you what I’m about to tell?!
Goodness. I have no idea.
But here I sit in this quaint little restaurant, next to the prettiest of windows, typing these words on this charming teal table, with a stomach full of nerves.
The test, trails and triumphs of life have been plenty the past few weeks. Life is moving at a warping speed. And it’s a good speed y’all. But sometimes the devil just likes to pop up some road blocks to make you question and consider quitting.
He loves to make us feel like somehow we don’t deserve the goodness of God.
But we do, even when we don’t believe it.
And I’m finding myself needing to lean upon His grace goodness more than ever.
To whom much is given, much is indeed required.
But to whom it is given, it is also Graced.
So, I shake off the things that have hindered this heart of mine. And I’m believing that the best is still coming.
And so … it is with great excitement, anticipation and all.the.butterflies I share with you that as of today, I have officially signed book contract number TWO with Lifeway and B&H Publishing!
It’s a topic and message I find myself struggling with more than ever. I can’t wait to share more with you about this book. But, we are going to have a while before this next book baby is born. She won’t be releasing until March of 2018, but she’s going to be a special one you guys. But don’t worry, I’ll be sharing this entire process with you guys.
I’m still carefully releasing 5 Habits of a Woman Who Doesn’t Quit. She’s not even a year old and is just getting into the hands of so many of you. I’m loving what God is doing in your lives through that message and will continue to stand amazed at you becoming a woman who doesn’t give up!
And so many of you have begun the My One Thing online course to coincide with the book and holy smokes … it’s amazing to hear what God is doing through this course. You’re starting business’s, completing goals and stepping into your ONE assignment with boldness and courage.
Yes, it’s an exciting time for me to be this woman in a small corner of your life, watching you become all God has created you to be. Working through your God struggles. And thriving in His Word.
And no, I won’t let the devil discourage either one of us.
I’m fighting hard for the good things God still wants to teach both of us. Thanks for being a trusted blog friend. This community truly keeps me grounded and growing. And I’m so grateful for you.
So … shall we do this book writing thing again? I think so. Let’s go … 🙂

I just finished reading the 5 habits book and it was the best thing I have ever read. I’m only 20 years old but your book spoke to on a personal level and it made me embrace the process God is taking me in order to fulfill my ministry. Thank you for sharing your story with world. And it’s so cool that you have a fixer upper farm. I’m thinking of buying more copies and sharing them with some friends that will benefit greatly from your story and advice. I know God gave you wise words to bless others who have thought of quitting. I went to lifeway two weeks ago and I had been considering quitting my dreams and hopes in ministry and my personal life and I happened to come accross your book, as soon as I saw it I knew it was God sent. I read your bio and laughed at your bio because I wish I had a fixxer upper farm too. 🙂 I devoured this book and it has changed me especially in the emotional generosity department. CONGRATS!!
